Allison while hospitalizedOn Sunday, February 26th, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. there will be a fundraiser sponsored by Veteran’s Memorial Building in Martinez, California, in support of former Alhambra High School student, Allison Angove. In addition to food, raffles, and a silent auction, the new band PUSH, with ABC7News Anchor Dan Ashley as lead singer, will be performing.

“Raising Mario Twice” is the true story of a family’s journey from a tragic crash through new realities as a mother struggles to bring normalcy back to her own, her son’s and the rest of her family’s lives. In the face of the devastating physical trauma experienced by one of her two sons when he crashed his pick-up truck, Christine Scharmer was forced to face difficult truths about what happened the night of the accident, and what was going to happen after her younger son, Mario, was left brain damaged in his own drunk driving crash.
