This is not to impose your will on the lives of others, even for benevolent reasons, but to celebrate the reverence and joy that can be felt for the oneness of all beings in the presence of the Sacred One.
This will help you include others in what you desire.
When you contemplate this sincerely, others can be great teachers to you about desire.
Make a list of all the blessings in your life for which you have never expressed thanks-not only to God, but also to others and to yourself.
Then begin to find others with whom you can share your dreams.
Adjust your priorities to match your dreams. Do something every day that makes you happy. Don’t automatically expect this from others. The only thing you should assume in life is responsibility for making your own life work.
Assess what makes you uniquely happy, rather than accepting what others say should make you happy. It is an act of supreme kindness to yourself to look into your being, identify your needs, aspirations, and passions, and decide “Is this what I really want?”
Assume responsibility for your actions, thought, feelings, and words. Refuse to blame others for your unhappiness. Blame is just a way to avoid responsibility. Happy people don’t see themselves as victims-regardless of their circumstances. They focus on finding solutions to their problems and ways to make their lives better.
As a part of the Divine Presence you have been given the power of Choice
Examine what you have actually chosen for your life. This is your compass, guiding all your decisions and actions.
Happiness is a choice. It has been proven through the ages that those who truly choose happiness can deal productively and creatively with just about anything in life… good or bad.
